Alexandra Maria Lara (born in Romania) is the Romanian actor and TV host. She's best known as the lead in Rush, Downfall Youth Without Youth Control as well as Rush. Alexandra was the only child of Romanian actor Valentin Platareu. When she was 16, she had already landed several television roles, which included the leading role in the film Downfall Youth without Youth Control. Her fame was due to her performance on Der Tunnel.
